Using two screw terminal blocks vs requiring soldering set-up is easy and supports a range of cable inputs without any soldering or adapters needed.

Regulation is simple. Start by screwing an input source up to 24V** into the IN side of the regulator, use a multimeter to measure the voltage on the other side and use a small screwdriver to adjust voltage out. We recommend 5V (5.05V normally is fine to calibrate to due to a small drop in voltage after plugged into a Pi) for a Raspberry Pi. Less may come out at the highest setting when using batteries.

Finally screw in two cables in the output end and plug it into the device you require!

Make sure that you take caution that the polarity of the input and output sides are correct otherwise the device will not work and may damage devices on the output.

 The datasheet specifys that this can handle up to 45V in at a 3A load however we only cover up to 24V at 1A

*No tests have been performed by ourselves yet but is based off of the method of regulation used VS an normal Linear Regulator.
** We have tested up to 24V at 1A adapters down to 12V and 12V down to  5V & 3.3V. Normally 4*AA batteries can regulate down to ~5V for an hour and a half and slowly drops off due to the batteries running out of charge.
